I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving holiday.  Just three weeks until Christmas!  Can you believe it?

Please continue to practice spelling and Word Wall Words with your child every night.  I can see a big diifference in their reading, especially when they recognize words we have practiced during their regular reading assignments.  Here are the lists for this week:

Study tip:

When studying “piece” and “peace”, I try to remind the students that “piece” has the word “pie” in it to help them remember that it’s a piece of pie.

When studying “night” and “knight”, I remind them that the word spelled k-n-i-g-h-t is the one that works for a king, so that’s why it has a “k” on the front of it.
